For the Licht & Dunkelheit project by Lukas Müller Design, I directed and photographed a studio photoshoot featuring four models: Michelle, Peggy, Stef, and Harold. The images were created in my photo studio in Zurich, using a clean white background to place full focus on form, expression, and the jewellery itself.
The neutral setting allowed the interplay between light and shadow to become the central visual element, enhancing the contrast between brightness and darkness while emphasizing the sculptural qualities, textures, and details of the jewellery. Through precise lighting and a reduced aesthetic, each piece is presented with clarity and intention, becoming an integral part of the visual language rather than a secondary element.
Each model brings an individual presence to the series, supporting the character of the jewellery while maintaining a coherent and timeless aesthetic. The result is a focused, elegant image set that reflects the design philosophy of Lukas Müller Design—minimal, controlled, and centered on the essence of light, material, and form.
